Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the sausage or ground beef in a skillet; drain any excess grease.
  3. Add the refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, and green chiles directly into the skillet.
  4. Stir until everything melts together into a creamy, uniform mixture.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  6. Top generously with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until melty, bubbly, and irresistible.
  8. Serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Tips

• Want more heat? Mix in jalapeños, chipotle in adobo, or a splash of your favorite hot sauce.
• Keep it warm in a slow cooker for parties — it stays creamy for hours.
• Soften the cream cheese fully for the smoothest texture.
• Double the cheese on top for an extra-gooey, over-the-top finish.
