Smoky Bacon Jalapeños with Gooey Brie and Blueberry Topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Arrange the jalapeño halves on the tray, cut side up.
  3. Place a small cube of brie into the center of each jalapeño.
  4. Sprinkle chopped bacon over the tops.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the blueberry preserves, honey, lemon zest, and smoked paprika.
  6. Spoon a small amount of the blueberry mixture onto each stuffed jalapeño.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until the jalapeños soften, the brie melts, and the bacon crisps.
  8. Serve warm while the brie is gooey and the toppings are glossy.

Variations

  • Swap brie for goat cheese or cream cheese for a tangier profile.
  • Use raspberry or fig preserves in place of blueberry for a new flavor twist.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans on top for added crunch.
  • Add a small piece of prosciutto instead of bacon for a more refined saltiness.

Tips

  • Choose medium to large jalapeños for easier stuffing.
  • Remove all seeds and membranes if you prefer a milder bite.
  • Drizzle with hot honey or balsamic glaze just before serving for incredible depth.
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the brie at its creamiest.
