Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Arrange the jalapeño halves on the tray, cut side up.
- Place a small cube of brie into the center of each jalapeño.
- Sprinkle chopped bacon over the tops.
- In a small bowl, combine the blueberry preserves, honey, lemon zest, and smoked paprika.
- Spoon a small amount of the blueberry mixture onto each stuffed jalapeño.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until the jalapeños soften, the brie melts, and the bacon crisps.
- Serve warm while the brie is gooey and the toppings are glossy.
Variations
- Swap brie for goat cheese or cream cheese for a tangier profile.
- Use raspberry or fig preserves in place of blueberry for a new flavor twist.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans on top for added crunch.
- Add a small piece of prosciutto instead of bacon for a more refined saltiness.
Tips
- Choose medium to large jalapeños for easier stuffing.
- Remove all seeds and membranes if you prefer a milder bite.
- Drizzle with hot honey or balsamic glaze just before serving for incredible depth.
- Serve immediately to enjoy the brie at its creamiest.
