Variations

  • Bacon Brussels Sprouts: Add crumbled crispy bacon before serving for a smoky twist.
  • Lemon Garlic: Finish with fresh lemon zest and a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
  • Spicy Version: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper.
  • Honey Balsamic: Mix a little honey with the balsamic glaze for a sweeter finish.

Tips

  • Roast the Brussels sprouts cut-side down for maximum caramelization.
  • Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure the sprouts crisp instead of steam.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best melting and flavor.
  • For extra crispiness, place the baking sheet on the top rack of the oven during the last few minutes of roasting.
  • Serve immediately while the sprouts are hot and crispy for the best texture.
