Variations
- Extra Loaded: Add more bacon or a mix of cheeses for an even richer bite.
- Spicy Upgrade: Include diced serrano peppers or a pinch of cayenne for extra heat.
- BBQ Style: Mix a tablespoon of BBQ sauce into the batter for a smoky-sweet twist.
- Breakfast Version: Use breakfast sausage and serve with maple dipping sauce.
Tips
- If the mixture is too sticky, lightly oil your hands to make rolling easier.
- Cook bacon until crisp before adding to maintain texture in the bites.
- Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even browning.
- Serve warm with spicy ranch, BBQ sauce, or honey mustard for the best flavor experience.
