Meat Lover’s Pizza Bread

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice the bread lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through so it forms a “boat.”
  3. Spread a generous layer of pizza sauce inside the bread.
  4. Add mozzarella cheese, then layer in the cooked ground beef, Italian sausage, bacon pieces, and mini pepperoni.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Slice and serve warm with extra pizza sauce on the side.

Variations

  • Add sautéed mushrooms, onions, or bell peppers for a supreme-style version.
  • Use provolone, cheddar, or a pizza cheese blend for a different flavor profile.
  • Swap the ground beef for chopped meatballs for an even heartier loaf.
  • Add a drizzle of spicy marinara or hot honey before serving for extra flavor.
  • Top with fresh basil after baking for a bright, herbal finish.

Tips

  • Brush the inside of the bread with garlic butter before adding toppings for a richer, pizzeria-style flavor.
  • Use freshly shredded mozzarella for the best melt and texture.
  • Line your baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup—this bread gets wonderfully melty.
  • Let the loaf cool for 2 to 3 minutes before slicing to help the layers set.
  • Serve immediately for the ultimate gooey experience.
