Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet with the diced onion until no longer pink. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, paprika, onion powder, salt, pepper, and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix until well combined.
- Stir in the cheddar and mozzarella (if using) until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot, garnished with pickles or green onions for a true cheeseburger finish.
Variations
- Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Add diced bell peppers or mushrooms for extra veggies.
- Swap cheddar for pepper jack to add a spicy twist.
- Mix in a handful of crispy bacon for deeper savory flavor.
Tips
- Add a splash of pickle juice for authentic cheeseburger tang.
- For extra crunch, top with crispy fried onions just before serving.
- If the sauce becomes too thick, stir in a splash of broth or milk.
- Cook pasta just to al dente so it holds up perfectly in the creamy sauce.
