Instructions:
- Lay the tortillas flat on a clean work surface. If using mustard, spread a thin layer over each tortilla.
- Place two slices of ham and one slice of cheese in the center of each tortilla.
- Fold in the sides, then roll the tortilla tightly into a wrap.
- Brush the outside of each wrap lightly with melted butter or olive oil. Sprinkle evenly with garlic powder and black pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the wraps seam-side down in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, turning once, until the wraps are golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted inside.
- Let the wraps cool for 1 to 2 minutes before serving warm.
Variations
- Use smoked turkey or roast beef instead of ham.
- Add sliced tomatoes or spinach for a fresh twist.
- Swap in pepper jack cheese for a little heat.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan on the outside before air frying for extra crunch.
Tips
- Roll the wraps tightly to prevent the cheese from leaking out.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for even browning.
- Resting the wraps briefly helps the cheese set while staying gooey.
- Serve with mustard, ranch, or a simple cheese dip for dipping.
