Blueberry Brie Jalapeño Poppers

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. Place a chunk of brie inside each jalapeño half.
  4. Wrap each filled jalapeño with a slice of ham, prosciutto, or bacon.
  5. Bake or air fry for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the wrapping is crisp or lightly browned.
  6. Warm the blueberry preserves and drizzle or spoon over the poppers.
  7. Finish with black pepper or flaky salt if desired.
  8. Serve immediately while hot and gooey.

Variations

• Swap blueberry preserves with fig, raspberry, or apricot for a different flavor profile.
• Use goat cheese or cream cheese instead of brie for a sharper or tangier bite.
• Add a thin slice of apple or pear beneath the brie for added sweetness and texture.
• Wrap with turkey bacon for a lighter option.

Tips

• Choose jalapeños that are similar in size to ensure even cooking.
• For extra heat, leave a bit of the membrane intact.
• Warm the preserves just before serving so they drizzle smoothly over the poppers.
• Allow the poppers to cool for one minute before serving to prevent the cheese from spilling out too quickly.
